Baleyo Charaag is the Truth Sahib Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji revealed: the one Divine Light is within all of creation, we are all One. This Truth is the light that dispels the darkness of the illusion that we are separate.ਬਲਿਓ ਚਰਾਗੁ ਉਹ ਸੱਚ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਪਰਗਟ ਕੀਤਾ: ਸਾਰੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕੋ ਰੱਬੀ ਜੋਤ ਹੈ, ਅਸੀਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਇੱਕ ਹਾਂ। ਇਹੀ ਸੱਚ ਉਹ ਚਾਨਣ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਵੱਖਰੇ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਭੁਲੇਖੇ ਦਾ ਹਨੇਰਾ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

In every heart, a light.ਹਰ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਜੋਤ।

In every tree, bird and river, too.ਹਰ ਰੁੱਖ, ਪੰਛੀ ਅਤੇ ਦਰਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ।

Many lights, rising as One.ਅਨੇਕ ਜੋਤਾਂ, ਇੱਕ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ।

ਸਭ ਮਹਿ ਜੋਤਿ ਜੋਤਿ ਹੈ ਸੋਇ ॥

The Divine is our common Father as well as common Provider. The whole mankind is His Family, we should recognize the same Light in everyone, love, and celebrate each other.ਆਪਾਂ ਸਾਰੇ ਇੱਕ ਹਾਂ, ਇੱਕ ਬਾਪ ਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਹਾਂ, ਸਕੇ ਭੈਣ ਭਰਾ ਹਾਂ। ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕੋ ਰੱਬੀ ਜੋਤ ਵਰਤ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਸਾਨੂੰ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਜੋਤ ਨੂੰ ਪਛਾਣੀਏ, ਇੱਕ ਦੂਸਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਬਹੁਤ ਪਿਆਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਰਹੀਏ ਅਤੇ ਜਸ਼ਨ ਮਨਾਈਏ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਇੱਕ ਹਾਂ।

The revelation that the whole creation is One and the whole humanity is strung upon the Divine’s presence. Guru Nanak Dev Ji brought the world out of the darkness of ignorance and taught that all humanity is one family. On Purab, every home and business is asked to light lamps, candles and lights, celebrating it as Sarb Sanjhiwalta Diwas, the day of Oneness.ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਅਗਿਆਨਤਾ ਦੇ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੱਢਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਖਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਸਾਰੀ ਮਨੁੱਖਤਾ ਇੱਕ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਹੈ। ਪੁਰਬ ‘ਤੇ ਹਰ ਘਰ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਦੀਵੇ, ਮੋਮਬੱਤੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀਆਂ ਜਗਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਦਿਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਬ ਸਾਂਝੀਵਾਲਤਾ ਦਿਵਸ — ਇੱਕਤਾ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ — ਵਜੋਂ ਮਨਾਉਂਦਿਆਂ।
